Collections

Small orders (orders under 15kg) can be collected by appointment from our showroom between 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday and between 10am and 1pm on a Saturday.

Our warehouse is not always manned and warehouse collections must be prebooked. Collection slots are available at our warehouse between 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

You must ensure that your vehicle is suitable for carrying the goods. We reserve the right to refuse loading if we determine that your order cannot be loaded safely and securely.

Collected goods must be inspected at point of collection and are transported at the individual’s own risk.

In some circumstances a same day or 24 hour collection can be arranged. This must be agreed directly with the office prior to ordering.

Delivery Methods

Orders less than 15kgs (samples and small online orders)

These will be transported via Royal Mail, orders typically take 2-5 working days.

Delivery via Pallet Network

If your order is over 15kgs we will arrange delivery via the pallet network. Materials will be delivered to you via Palletways (or similar 3rd party haulier) on a 6 or 8 wheel lorry fitted with a tail-lift.

Please ensure that there are no access restrictions for the lorry, e.g. narrow gates. To offload with a tail lift safely, the driver will need an easily accessible area that is solid and level.

The pallets/crates will be moved with a pallet truck to the nearest and safest point to site – hard ground is required for the pallet truck to be moved, please note that soft gravel and muddy areas are not suitable.

If a forklift can be made available this aids and speeds up delivery greatly.

The driver will not unpack or move the materials indoors, and as such it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any weather-sensitive materials are moved inside.

Palletised delivery via HIAB

Delivery using a 6 or 8 wheel lorry fitted with a HIAB crane. Please ensure that there are no access restrictions, e.g. narrow gates. The driver will crane the pallets/crates to the nearest and safest point to site.

The driver will not unpack or move the materials indoors, and as such it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any weather-sensitive materials are moved inside.

Delivery via Strathearn Driver

Sometimes, we will deliver an order using our own delivery van and delivery driver. Please ensure that access to the site is safe and direct for our driver and that the materials can be left in an easily accessible storage area.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland

We’ve been exploring options for sending materials to Northern Ireland and it’s proving to be complex after Brexit. We can indeed arrange delivery to Northern Ireland, however the haulage charge would be dependent on weight and number of crates, and would be subject to a customs charge.

As Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland have tightened their customs procedures, both trade and retail customers must have an EORI number in order to ship for you (Your EORI number will begin with XI).

For information about EORI numbers please see the links below:
