Additional Information
Each slate piece is unique and subject to variations in colour and texture. Some slate pieces are plain and others are patterned. Our River Black Slate has a lightly riven finish with square sawn edges. Upon installation, it is possible to soften the exposed edges using wire wool or a polishing pad. The riven finish is a naturally cleft face which is achieved by splitting blocks of stone along natural laminations.

Collection and Delivery: Ready to collect from our Forteviot showroom. Delivery can be arranged, and will be made using a lorry via a pallet network. If you are local to us, we may be able to arrange delivery via our own delivery van and driver. Please refer to our Deliveries & Collections page for more information.
We recommend your slate hearth stone is sealed upon installation, using a slate oil.
