Nothing compares to the warmth and durability of a beautifully finished oak floor. We supply solid or engineered oak flooring in boards of different widths and grades, and in long lengths. We demand the highest quality when we select our oak and use only graded oak from sawmills in Europe, predominantly France, that carry PEFC certification. Our timber is kiln-dried to a moisture content of 6–12% and pre-sanded and pre-filled to minimise installation work and time. The boards are normally supplied unfinished, in order that our customers can choose the finish most suitable for their requirements e.g. oil, varnish etc. We have sourced a range of French & European oak flooring to suit almost any application. Our Solid Oak range includes products suitable for both modern and aged properties. For timber flooring over underfloor heating, please refer to our Engineered Oak section. | Solid Oak - Our solid oak boards are 20 mm thick, and come in random lengths up to 3m. For ease of installation, each board is end-matched tongue and grooved. Our solid oak flooring is structural timber i.e. can be installed directly onto joists, and the boards come with micro-bevel edges as standard (square edge may be available on request). |
| | Engineered Oak - Our Engineered oak boards are 18 or 20mm thick, with a 6mm solid oak wear layer and either 12 or 14mm multi-ply back board. The planks are supplied in random lengths up to 2.5m and each board is end-matched tongue and grooved. Our 20mm engineered oak flooring is structural timber i.e. can be installed directly onto joists, and the boards come with micro-bevel edges as standard (square edge may be available on request). |
