Note: Calculate the area of the room by multiplying the length by breadth and add an allowance for wastage & cuts - if rooms are regular in shape then a 10% allowance (of which 3% is allowed for in-crate breakages) for stone should be sufficient. If rooms are awkward in shape or have steps, alcoves etc., then an additional allowance may be required.
