For ease of installation, each board is end-matched tongue and grooved. Our solid antique oak flooring is also a structural grade timber i.e. can be installed directly onto joists. Engineered Antique Oak FlooringEngineered oak flooring is designed for use in areas exposed to significant fluctuations in temperature/humidity, such as rooms that have underfloor heating or conservatories. Engineered oak is also suitable for installation as a floating floor onto concrete subfloors. Once laid, engineered wood will replicate the look of a solid oak floor. Our Antique engineered flooring is 20mm thick, with a 5 to 6mm solid oak wear layer and multi-ply back board, unless otherwise stated. The planks are supplied in random lengths up to 2.5m and each board is end-matched tongue and grooved. Our 20mm engineered oak flooring is a structural grade timber i.e. can be installed directly onto joists. We recommend that you visit our showroom in Perthshire where large panels of our products can be viewed. The inherent variations and total effect of natural flooring can then be fully appreciated! |
